Home improvements
It’s been slow starting, but we’ve finally got going with various projects around the house.
UPDATE: The driveway has been done! Now we have a real paved driveway and verandah, so it’s almost like a real house… all we need now is a garden!
First up, we’ve planted a few trees: three “mop-tops” along the side fence, and one out the front. Jo and Kian...

And we thought little girls were sweet, danity things! She has been walking for a while, but I finally got to catch it as a digital movie so I can post it here… Unfortunately I have filmed it portrait, so you are going to have to turn your monitor on its side.
Kian's primary school orientation
It seems like only yesterday Kian was a tiny little bundle in a blanket… and now our boy is starting school! He’s going to be going to Apollo Parkways Primary School) next year, and this month is doing one hour orientation sessions each week. He’s very excited.
My wife
Jo recently went away for the long weekend (Cup Day) to a wedding up near Newcastle. I spent four days at home with the kids! Actually, it wasn’t really four solid days, since I had cricket all Saturday afternoon (thanks Aunty Rhonda, Uncle John and Jess and Nelle!!), and the kids went to creche on Monday, but still…
